IntroWholesale / Legal & Transparency
Understand the scope and limits of vehicle title and history information before relying on a report.
DRAFT FOR REVIEW • Prepared October 1, 2026
Effective date: [TO CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION]
BUSINESS & LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED
[CONFIRM] The legal entity operating IntroWholesale, its relationship with VINData, and the exact NMVTIS disclosure and placement required by the provider agreement. References to an “official partner” or NMVTIS approval must be supported.
[CONFIRM] Whether the full official notice must be reproduced on this page, at checkout, and inside each report. The overview below is a summary; it is not the official notice.
NMVTIS provides reported title and brand information, the latest odometer entry in a state title record, and certain insurance total-loss and junk or salvage records. Coverage depends on the vehicles and records supplied by reporting entities.
Records may be incomplete or delayed. A serious damage event may be absent if no reportable total-loss determination or title brand was recorded. A total-loss report and a state salvage designation are different determinations.
NMVTIS does not provide a detailed repair history. A history report cannot replace an independent vehicle inspection. Missing adverse records do not establish that a vehicle is undamaged or safe.
Check that the VIN and vehicle description match the asset you are evaluating. Review source labels and record dates, and obtain an independent inspection before buying a vehicle.
Any valuation, lien, recall, theft, accident, ownership, or other supplemental information must be identified by its actual source. Do not assume every field in a combined report comes from NMVTIS.
A report is informational. It does not by itself establish ownership, clear a lien, transfer title, provide legal or tax advice, or guarantee a court, insurer, lender, buyer, or agency will accept it.
[CONFIRM] Actual product coverage, provider licensing, valuation method, and the evidence supporting existing “court-ready,” “100% court-accepted,” “hidden lien,” and accident-history claims. Reconcile those claims with the approved disclosures before publication.
